The “Steam ready” indicator light flashes 9 times and the “Water container empty” indicator lights up on the steam ironing system.

Descaling was interrupted by switch-off. The iron or steamer is connected when the appliance is switched on again.

Switch the steam ironing system off.

Unplug the iron or steamer from the steam connection.

Switch the steam ironing system on.

Descaling resumes.
