- A current Electrical Part P Certificate (valid for 5 years) or a recent equivalent electrical certificate that covers electrical health & safety procedures.
- A valid Public Liability Insurance certificate
These documents must be uploaded on the next page before submitting your application.
Repair work may only be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with the valid safety regulations.
For the repair, modification, testing and maintenance of electrical equipment, the relevant legal principles, accident prevention measures and the applicable standards must be observed. Before maintenance and repair work is carried out on the unit, it must be safely disconnected from all live cables.
Software and tools for professional repairers
Miele Service Documentation
The software is a browser-based application for searching and viewing service information. Access includes spare parts information, instructions and descriptions, and wiring diagrams.
PC application
The PC application allows you to read out faults, reset devices and update device software by connecting to the appliance. An optical interface is also required for this purpose.
Miele Diagnostic Support
Miele Diagnostic Support can also be used offline without an Internet connection at the customer's site. However, the application must have been updated online at least 10 days before the customer visit.

This package incorporates:
- Miele Diagnostic Unit Interface (PC application) that connects to the Miele appliance and is essential for diagnostics, software updates and programming of the appliance electronic boards.
- 12 month subscription of Miele Diagnostic Unit Software – This software package allows the user to open up the diagnostic software in conjunction with the MDU interface12 month subscription Miele Service Documentation (MSD) – This is a software package that allows the user to look up technical documentation, fault codes, spare parts and wiring diagrams of a selected appliance.
Annual Licensing Options for Ongoing Software Access and Maintenance
MSD & MDU software package renewed annually £1034.47
- Provides ongoing authorised access to the latest MDU software releases, enabling appliance diagnostics, software deployment, firmware updates, and electronic control board programming in accordance with current technical service requirements.
MSD Software only £413.78 renewed annually
- Miele Service Documentation. (MSD) – This is a software package that allows the user to look up technical documentation, fault codes, spare parts and wiring diagrams of a selected appliance. This does not allow continued MDU interface or programming of electronic boards.
Professional Repairer status is conditional upon the annual renewal of all required software licences and subscriptions. Failure to maintain valid software licensing, or any breach of the terms of this agreement, may result in the suspension, withdrawal, or termination of Professional Repairer accreditation at the Company's sole discretion.
