After salt has been added, the Salt display remains lit for some time as it takes a while for the salt to dissolve.
No remedy necessary. The light will go out by itself.

Rinse aid or Salt indicator light comes on
The Rinse aid or Salt indicator light on the dishwasher lights up continuously.
Use of X-in-1 combi tabs.
We recommend activating the special X-in-1 function on the dishwasher (if available) and selecting a 55-degree or Automatic programme. If this function is not available, the display will still light up on the dishwasher. This is normal when using combi tabs.
For better results, we recommend dispensing detergent, rinse aid and salt separately.
Furthermore, please make sure you add enough rinse aid and salt to keep the water softener in the appliance active.
For thorough and gentle cleaning of glasses, crockery and cutlery, we recommend Miele products which also care for your dishwasher at the same time.
