Fault F11 (G7 xxx & G5 xxx Discovery from year of manufacture 2019 onwards)

The dishwasher display shows fault F11 and there is water in the wash cabinet (G7 xxx & G5 xxx Discovery from year of manufacture 2019 onwards).

The drain pump cover is positioned incorrectly in the dishwasher.

Remove the drain pump cover. Proceed as follows:

  • Ensure that the catch on the cover engages completely.

  • Press the catch of the drain pump cover inwards (1).

  • Tip the cover inwards to release it (2).

Refit the cover by placing it down vertically from above.

Make sure that the cover is flush with the edge.

The drain pump is blocked. Water is flowing back into the wash cabinet. There is a drain fault.

Clean the drain pump. Proceed as follows:

  • Switch off the dishwasher and then unplug the plug.

  • Remove the lower spray arm.

  • Remove the filter combination from the wash cabinet.

  • Scoop the water out of the wash cabinet using a small container.

  • Clean the drain pump cover. Proceed as follows:

    • Risk of injury from glass splinters.

      It is especially difficult to see glass splinters in the drain pump.

    • Press the catch of the drain pump cover inwards (1).

    • Tip the cover inwards to release it (2).

    • Clean the cover under running water and remove all foreign objects.

    • Take care when cleaning the drain pump.

  • Clean the drain pump. Proceed as follows:

    • Press a small sponge through the drain pump impeller.

    • Carefully remove all foreign objects from the drain pump.

    • Check the drain pump impeller by manually turning it.

  • Refit the cover by placing it down vertically from above.

    • Ensure that the catch on the cover engages completely.

    • Make sure that the cover is flush with the edge.

  • Refit the filter combination correctly.

    • Ensure that the filter combination lies flat in the base of the wash cabinet.

  • Refit the lower spray arm.

  • Start the wash programme again.

  • Check whether the water has been pumped away.
