How do I adapt my existing oven recipes to the M Chef operating modes in the Dialog oven?
Select M Chef and the type of heating that you have also used in your conventional oven.
(e.g. M Chef + Fan plus instead of just Fan plus)The temperature should be set about 20 °C higher than you would use for a conventional oven.
Exception: For grill operating modes, use the same temperature.
(e.g. 200 °C for M Chef + Conventional heat compared with 180 °C for Conventional heat only)Don’t set any Gourmet Units, just the temperature.
For guidance, check the Intensity setting in a recipe for comparable food in the Dialog oven cookbook. You can select strong for most types of food.
Check progress about halfway through the time it would take using a conventional oven.
As a general rule, use shelf level 2 in the Dialog oven. Ideally, position the food in the middle of the oven compartment.
A more even cooking result will be achieved by placing the food as centrally as possibly on the rack or the baking tray.
Consult the operating instructions for further information.
