Operating noise changes during vacuuming (cordless stick vacuum cleaner)

The operating noise of the vacuum cleaner changes during vacuuming (cordless stick vacuum cleaner).

The flooring detection is activated at every power level on cordless stick vacuum cleaners.

The electrobrush power rating is automatically set to the optimum level based on the type of flooring and roller brush used – this can lead to a change in the operating noise.

The noise is not unusual – the vacuum cleaner is functioning normally.

The airways are soiled.

The electrobrush, the handheld brush, the PowerUnit and the suction tube contain electrical wires.

The plug connectors must not come into contact with water. Danger of electric shock. They should only be cleaned with a dry cloth.

Switch the vacuum cleaner off with the On/Off switch on the Comfort handle.

Clean all the airways.

  • Disconnect the electrobrush/handheld brush from the vacuum cleaner and disconnect the PowerUnit and, where applicable, the handle from the suction tube.

  • Remove soiling from the suction tube and the electrobrush/handheld brush.
