Insert drip tray or Empty drip tray

Empty the drip tray.

Pull the drip tray out of the coffee machine.

Push the drip tray back into the coffee machine until it clicks into place.

Clean the contacts under warm running water, using a drop of washing-up liquid.

Clean thoroughly between the contacts at the rear of the drip tray.

Clean the contacts thoroughly from below, see figure. You can access the contacts from below by turning the drip tray upside down.

Dry the contacts thoroughly.

Dry the drip tray.

Insert the drip tray back in the coffee machine.

Switch the coffee machine off and on again at the mains switch.
