I took the top off my Miele tumble dryer to investigate why the drum was not turning and found the drive belt had snapped. It was relatively easy to identify and order the right part from the Miele website. I replaced the belt myself, the only issue I encountered was I could not remove the fan bolt, but I managed instead to take the side off the machine and gain the access required to fit the new drive belt.
