TwinDos has not been used for too long a time. It is possible that detergent has dried inside the hoses.
Carry out the TwinDos maintenance programme immediately.
Damage resulting from dried laundry detergent.
If the system has not been used for a long time (more than two months), detergent in the hoses can become viscous or dry out. The hoses can become blocked and would then need to be cleaned by a service technician.
Clean the TwinDos system.
To clean the system, you need a “TwinDosCare” cleaning cartridge, which is available from shop.miele.com.
The washing machine has a cleaning programme for the TwinDos system. Running the cleaning programme will clean the hoses inside the washing machine.
Start the maintenance programme for compartment and compartment using the Letter P programmable function.
Prerequisite for accessing the programming level:
The washing machine is switched on (the programme selector is pointing to a wash programme).
The washing machine door is open.
Touch the Start/Add laundry sensor control and hold it down whilst carrying out steps –.
Close the washing machine door.
Wait until the Start/Add laundry sensor control lights up constantly ...
... and then release the Start/Add laundry sensor control.
After approximately 4 seconds, Letter P13 will light up on the time display.
Touch the Right arrow or Left arrowEmpty sensor control until Letter P appears on the time display.
Confirm with the Start/Add laundry sensor control.
00 will light up on the time display.
Touch the Right arrow sensor control.
01 will light up on the time display.
Confirm with the Start/Add laundry sensor control.
Letter P1 will flash on the time display.
Push the cleaning cartridge into compartment .
Confirm with the Start/Add laundry sensor control.
Compartment is cleaned.
To clean compartment , proceed in the same way as with compartment , but press the Right arrow sensor control twice in step . 02 will light up on the time display.
Use a damp cleaning cloth to clean the compartment interior when you change the cartridges.
