Door difficult to close or will not close

The dishwasher door is difficult to close or cannot be closed at all.

(Only dishwashers with ComfortClose):
The door lock (see figure above) has locked after the dishwasher was opened.

Close the door more firmly so the door lock opens manually and engages in the latch (see figure below) on the door.

The door can be unlocked and locked again as normal.

Open the dishwasher door completely.

Wait until the door lock rail has automatically retracted.

The door can be unlocked and locked again as normal.
