Once the Miele domestic appliance has been successfully added to the Miele app, the IP address of the DNS server on the router can be changed to an alternative DNS server.
Manually switch the DNS server for the Miele domestic appliance in the Miele app to the provider as follows: Tap the Miele domestic appliance in the appliance overview > Tap > Tap Network > Activate Manual network configuration > Network settings.
Before adding a new Miele domestic appliance to the Miele app, temporarily deactivate all DNS ad blockers and privacy apps that are running.
