excellent at cleaning -its my third cordless and by far the best- container capacity is an issue as in need to empty even after a quick vacuum - heavier than the others would have loved it to charge as you clip it into the wall as opposed to needing to put the connector in after

Regret the purchase

Delivery took ages, dates changed multiple times. The hoover itself has two advantages: can stand upright ( if assembled in certain way), suction is quite decent. However, it is heavy comparing to other brands on the market. Emptying is not very straight forward, and assembling , changing accessories is not as quick as other brands. Too heavy to use as hand held- for stairs or car. After emptying quickest way, hair is stuck to the filter, so need to disassemble fully to clean.

Effective and easy to use wireless vacuum

It is a cool vacuum, very comfortable, lightweight. Battery last long. I like the option to turn it into a hand-held vacuum for cleaning stairs and sofas. Probably not for heavy-duty stuff, but perfect for keeping your home clean.

Not fit for purpose, unjustified high purchase price, in short - crap.

We own a number of Miele appliances and, encouraged by their quality and performance, decided to buy a SEB435 cordless stick vacuum during a recent promotion. This was advertised as a cat and dog model. In our household there are two smooth coated Labrador retrievers who are not currently moulting. We have for some time owned a Miele mains-powered, bagged cylinder cleaner, also a cat and dog model, which has performed faultlessly. Having now owned and used this SEB435 cordless cleaner for some 2 months I'm afraid we can only express our disappointment at its poor performance and suitability for purpose. During use on both hard and carpeted surfaces, the integrated suction tubes which form part of the main body, the brush head and the hinge between the two, very quickly become clogged with tightly packed dog hair requiring frequent and time-consuming manual removal. Please note that these same floors have previously been regularly cleaned with our Miele cylinder cleaner so there can be no suggestion that there has been any accumulation of dog hair over time. While we did not expect the same performance as from our cylinder cleaner, we did at least expect - given the 'cat and dog' in the product description -that the SEB435 would take dog hair in its stride.
