Burner does not ignite

The burner does not ignite when the barbecue is being used for the first time, after it has been out of use for a prolonged period or after multiple attempts.

The gas supply is not open.

Open the gas supply.

There may be air in the gas line.

Try to light the burner again, making several attempts if necessary.

The gas supply is depleted.

Replace the gas bottle or have it refilled.

There may be a gas leak.

Close the gas supply immediately.

Carry out a leak test.

There is a fault.

Contact Miele Customer Service.

The burner is not inserted correctly.

Insert the burner correctly.

The burner is wet and/or dirty.

Clean and dry the burner.

The flame openings are blocked and/or wet.

Clean and dry the flame openings.
