Water in wash cabinet

There is water in the wash cabinet of the dishwasher at the end of the programme.

The filter combination in the wash cabinet is clogged.

Make sure that coarse soiling does not fall into the circulation system, causing a blockage.

Caution: risk of being cut

It is especially difficult to see glass splinters!

Clean the filter combination, proceeding as follows:

  • Switch the dishwasher off.

  • Turn the handle to release the filter combination (1).

  • Remove the filter combination (2). Remove any coarse particles and rinse the filter well under running water. Use a soft cleaning brush to remove soiling.

Additional information can be found in the linked video.

The drain pump and non-return valve may be blocked by foreign objects.

Be very careful not to damage sensitive components when cleaning the drain pump and the non-return valve. Proceed as follows:

  • Disconnect the dishwasher from the mains. To do this, pull out the power plug or deactivate the mains fuse.

  • Scoop the water out of the wash cabinet using a small container.

  • Press the catch for the non-return valve inwards (1).

  • Pull out the non-return valve. Rinse the non-return valve well under running water (2).

  • Remove all foreign objects from the non-return valve.

The drain pump is situated under the non-return valve.

  • Carefully remove all foreign objects from the drain pump.

  • Check the drain pump impeller by manually turning it. You will feel a little resistance when you turn the impeller.

  • Ensure that the catch engages correctly.

  • Carefully replace the non-return valve.

The drain hose is kinked.

Remove any kinks from the drain hose.
