Cannot insert milk valve

The coffee machine milk valve cannot be inserted. The milk valve holder does not engage. The milk valve was removed for cleaning purposes. The holder does not engage when it is replaced. No click can be heard.

The coffee machine was switched on when the milk valve was removed. The door was then closed.

If the coffee machine is switched on, the valve initialises as soon as the door is closed.

When the holder is missing, the valve will be in an undefined position.

It is not always possible for the holder to engage in this position.

Close and open the door.

Insert the holder without the stainless steel bolt and silicone seal until it audibly engages.

If the holder is unable to engage, close the door again and reopen it until the holder is able to engage.

When the holder engages, close the door and wait until initialisation is complete.

The drinks menu is displayed.

Then reinsert the entire milk valve as follows.

  • Open the door and remove the holder.

  • Insert the stainless steel bolt from above.

  • Insert the silicone seal into the milk valve holder.

  • Insert the holder and silicone seal until they audibly click into place.

Important to note before removing and cleaning the milk valve:

The coffee machine must be switched off.

Do not switch on the coffee machine while the milk valve is removed.
