MobileControl and MobileStart

MobileControl:

• MobileControl is a function that enables the user to control an appliance via the Miele app.

• The function can be used to read data and also to transmit commands to the appliance.

• The precise range of functions depends on the appliance in question.

MobileStart:

• Gen 7000, W1, T1, WT1 and CM appliances have the MobileStart function.

• MobileStart can be used to select programmes for a Miele domestic appliance remotely via the Miele app.

• This function is available as soon as the appliance has been networked successfully and Remote control > On has been activated on the appliance.

• MobileStart is activated on the appliance and is a requirement for using certain app functions such as preparing a beverage on the coffee machine remotely.

• Activating the MobileStart function ensures compliance with important safety requirements.

• 

• The array of sensor controls on some network-enabled domestic appliances has a special sensor control which lights up yellow after it has been pressed.

  • This means that users at home can immediately see if the appliance is being operated remotely.

• Certain functions, such as hob activation, are generally excluded from MobileControl/MobileStart.
