Current status values not displayed in app

The current status values for the Miele appliance are not displayed by the MieleĀ app. Your Miele appliance is linked to a WiFi network (home network) but the MieleĀ app does not display any current status values or outputs the message Appliance not linked.

Your appliance is connected but the WiFi signal is not strong enough.

You can check the signal strength on the Miele appliance.
If the signal is insufficient, we recommend installing a WiFi repeater.

Signal strength can be viewed on the Miele appliance under Settings > Miele@home > Module settings > Module info > Signal strength.

WiFi signal strength for GenĀ 6000:

  • 0ā€“15 = Reliable operation not guaranteed

  • 16ā€“30 = Operation possible

  • 31ā€“100 = Reliable operation possible

WiFi signal strength for GenĀ 7000:

  • ā€¢ = Reliable operation not possible

  • ā€¢) = Reliable operation not guaranteed

  • ā€¢)) = Operation possible

  • ā€¢))) = Reliable operation possible

WiFi signal strengths provide only a basic guideline value for assessing operational reliability. These details do not provide absolute certainty. Other factors include, for example:

  • People or objects in the room

  • Open or closed doors

  • Moved objects

  • Varying radio signal sources or interference

  • Interference from microwave ovens
