Excellent machine with one irritation
After 6 months use, I'm happy with this dishwasher. My last Miele lasted 17 years with just one repair, so no hesitation in choosing the brand again. It's a basic model by current standards, but I'm not interested in the additional features in more expensive ones. It seems well made, has all the usual programmes and options, is easy to set and very quiet.
I have one complaint, the reason for 4 stars not 5. As a fully integrated machine, all controls are on the edge of the door with nothing visible when closed. It's so quiet that it's difficult to check it's running. My last Miele had a bright red light shining on the underside of the worktop throughout the programme, which could be easily seem from in front. This may seem trivial, but I find the omission annoying.
