The extended warranty is an extension of the standard Miele 2-year Manufacturer’s Guarantee. This means it covers any defects in the material or workmanship of the product. Both defective parts and labour are covered.
The key exclusions are: faults caused by the user through operating errors or lack of care and maintenance, non-domestic or commercial use, accidental damage, incorrect installation, faulty repairs or repairs carried out by non-authorised parties, replacement parts subject to wear and tear and use of non-approved spare parts and accessories. The extended warranty is only available to machines purchased from an authorised retailer or directly from Miele in the United Kingdom (England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland & the Channel Islands)
The extended warranty can be activated via the promotional webpage available at www.miele.co.uk/warrantypromotion.
No. The customer must still activate the warranty even if the appliance is registered. Registering the appliance will only activate the standard 2-year Manufacturer’s Guarantee. If the customer activates the Extended Warranty first, this will auto-register the product.
Warranty activation must be made within 90 days of the end of the promotion. This means the warranty must be activated by 31 March 2026.
