Maintaining the highest standards, time after time
Bryn Tanat takes pride in maintaining excellent presentation at all times. Every item of laundry is carefully inspected and treated to ensure it meets their exact standards. “I wouldn’t change my method of washing, drying, and then finishing on the ironer,” Susan Martin, Business Owner at Bryn Tanat explains.
Outsourcing was never an option. The on-premise laundry (OPL) solution not only ensures quality control but also supports Bryn Tanat Hall’s sustainability goals. Air drying prior to ironing helps reduce energy consumption while maintaining the freshness of the laundry that they look for each and every time.

Investing in the right equipment
To meet the needs of their busy operation, Bryn Tanat Hall installed a number of Miele Professional appliances, including three 8-10KG commercial washing machines, two vented dryers as well as two rotary ironers.
The journey with Miele Professional began when the Hall’s domestic and light commercial washing machine broke down. A visit to the Miele Experience Centre in Abingdon, arranged by our approved partners Multibrand Services, allowed Bryn Tanat to learn about the benefits of switching from domestic. “They were very informative and helped us take the step into fully commercial washer and dryers,” Susan recalls.
Since then, Bryn Tanat Hall has continued to work closely with Multibrand, benefiting from expert guidance and ongoing support.

The result? A streamlined laundry process that can handle an entire lodge’s worth of towels and bedding in just 1.5 hours.
“The machines deliver, that’s what it comes down to,” says Susan. “They’ve got to be reliable and consistent, and having the backup of such professional aftercare makes all the difference.”
Ease of use has been a standout feature. “They’re almost too easy!” Susan said. “Having the new machine added, and the tumble dryer on a larger electrical supply means I am running faster to keep up with them!” This has allowed the team to focus on what matters most, delivering an exceptional experience for all of their guests.
Bryn Tanat Hall’s commitment to quality and sustainability has since earned them the title of Best Self-Catering Accommodation at The Mid-Wales Tourism Awards, and also a second-place finish in the National Tourism Awards for Wales.
