Miele Introduces New Handleless Collection of Built in Appliances

In September 2016, the premium domestic appliance manufacturer, Miele will be introducing a new handleless collection of built in cooking appliances, Miele ArtLine.  Designed to complement open plan living, the stylish range will fit flush with kitchen cabinetry for a seamless, uninterrupted look with a beautiful glass finish.   ArtLine will be available in Miele's popular Obsidian Black and Brilliant White colours as well as a new Graphite Grey shade.

The new Miele ArtLine range comprises of ovens, combination steam ovens (for 45cm and 60cm recesses) and microwave combination ovens, which can be complemented with a handleless coffee machine, warming drawer and Sous Vide vacuum sealing drawer in the same ArtLine colour options.

Technically, the ArtLine models are based on current built-in appliances from Miele’s Generation 6000 collection with one significant difference.  In place of a handle there is a sensor integrated into the fascia (Touch2Open) of the oven and by gently touching or lightly tapping the sensor, the motor-assisted door will glide open. The Miele ArtLine ovens also feature the top of the range MTouch display, which interacts with the user in a similar way to a smartphone through pressing and swiping the clear text touch screen.
