Transmitted data volumes while the Miele app is in use

When networked, the appliance sends its status to the Miele app once per minute via the Miele Cloud Service.

This status information is around 1 kB in size.

As the status is repeatedly transmitted, the following data volumes accumulate:

• Per day:
  (24 h/day * 60 transmissions/h) * 1 kB/transmission = 1440 transmissions/day * 1 kB/transmission = 1.4 MB/day

• Per year:
  511 MB

The data volume may also exceed this depending on how the customer uses the Miele app – for example, if they open the Miele app several times a day or actively use functions such as Mobile Control or Mobile Start.
