Miele tumble drying systems

Overview of product types

Vented dryers

A vented tumble dryer dries laundry in a short time. The moist air is removed via ducting to the outside.

Condenser dryer

The condenser dryer enables flexibility of installation because only a power socket is required for connection. The moist air is not vented into the atmosphere, but instead cooled down in a closed air circuit, condensing the moisture.

Heat-pump dryers

Miele heat-pump tumble dryers offer the same convenience and flexibility as a conventional condenser dryer but are particularly economical as they use up to 50% less electricity.

Condenser dryers

Condenser dryers give you the option of installing your appliance anywhere you want as the only connection required is an electrical socket. Instead of venting the moisture-laden air into the atmosphere, condenser dryers cool it down in a closed air circuit, causing the moisture to condense.
