Woodland Trust

The Woodland Trust is passionate about the need to increase native woodland cover in the UK not only to create more beautiful landscapes and help wildlife prosper but also to help improve the quality of everyone’s lives. With the help of their members and supporters they plant thousands of trees at their woodland creation sites, but mostly woodland creation is delivered by private landowners, local authorities and developers.

Miele has partnered with Woodland Trust to help the protection and conservation of UK woodland. For every Heat Pump tumble dryer sold, Miele will plant five trees in woodland throughout the UK.

With an 'A' rating for energy, Miele heat pump dryers are not only environmentally friendly, cost effective and suitable for every home but will reduce your running costs by up to 46%*.

Traditional condenser dryers draw air from the room to cool the hot air that has passed through the drum and remove the moisture that has been extracted from your clothes. Heat pump dryers work in a similar way, but use an efficient heat pump, instead of air from the room, to quickly cool the air as it leaves the drum. As the air is cooled, the moisture that has been removed from your clothes is condensed. This air is then quickly reheated and passed back through the drum to continue the drying process.
