Added Peace of mind with Miele 10-Year Service certificate

Premium domestic appliance manufacturer, Miele, have launched a fantastic 10-year Miele Service Certificate (MSC), worth £30, for all Miele vacuum cleaners.
Available as an optional extra, the new Service Certificate will offer customers warranty cover for 10 years on all S4, S5 and S7 models of vacuum cleaners and will include the manufacturers guarantee, parts and labour as well as service collection and delivery.
Anne Phipps, Service Product Manager at Miele comments, “With this warranty package, we're offering our consumers additional peace of mind and providing retailers with a success-proven sales tool. No one else within the vacuum cleaner market offers such an extensive, value-for-money warranty.”
All customers who purchase the 10-year MSC for vacuum cleaners will receive a free box of vacuum cleaner bags when they first register. The warranty is being promoted via press and TV advertising and as part of in-store POS.
Miele S7 is Winner with Which?

Miele's first foray into the upright vacuum cleaner market has resulted in a Which? “Best Buy” after just four months on the market. The Miele S 7210 was rated “a real winner” in a recent Which? Magazine report.
The report commended the S 7210 for its swivel neck which makes the cleaner very manoeuvrable and has the ability to lie flat to the floor to vacuum under low furniture.
The durability and longevity of Miele products is legendary, but the Which? test also made reference to the performance of this vacuum cleaner:
“Dust pick-up from carpet, laminate and floor boards is outstanding. The S7210 is the entry-level model, and is supplied with the basic Super AirClean filter, but we found filtration to be excellent - good news for allergy sufferers.”

Miele is Germany's “Best Product Brand”

The highly coveted “Best Brands” have been awarded for 2009 and Miele are delighted to have been awarded first place in the “Best Product Brand” category. The “Best Brand” awards are based on a comprehensive market survey performed by GfK Market Research. This poll is designed to gauge brand strength as well as the attractiveness of the brand and to assess the most successful brands with respect to their ability to meet future challenges.
In order to determine the “Best Product Brand”, GfK assessed the share of market of just under 200 of the best-known companies from 30 sectors covering fast-moving consumer goods and consumer durables. This involved collating information on success indicators such as market share, price premium and customer loyalty.
Telephone interviews were also held with consumers who were questioned on the attractiveness of brands which had previously been identified as the most successful. The aspects assessed were brand confidence, brand identification, the willingness to pay a premium for a branded product and quality. The best product brand was selected by bringing together a brand's success in terms of generating revenue with softer assets as reflected in a brand's appeal to consumers.

Utilising 80 years of technological expertise in vacuum cleaner production, Miele's new S7 range has been designed specifically for the UK market and is the ultimate in manoeuvrability and cleaning performance.
Boasting a unique swivel neck joint to navigate around furniture, the body of this nimble cleaner can be rotated for easy cleaning around obstacles such as tall lamps or table legs. It can even lie flat against the floor to clean under beds, tables, chairs and other low furniture.
Each vacuum cleaner in the range comes with an impressive 1800 Watts of suction power to give exceptional cleaning performance and has an operating radius of 14.5 metres - perfect for every home, large or small. Power levels are adjustable on all models, making the S7 totally flexible for all cleaning jobs, from deep pile carpets, to hard floors or even upholstery, curtains and blinds.
For easy operation, the power controls are located on the main handle, so there is no need to bend down to switch the cleaner on or off. And cleaning upstairs is no problem; the S7 has an extra ergonomic carrying handle allowing the user to easily lift the cleaner and carry it upstairs.
Each model is equipped with a telescopic suction tube and a flexible hose which can be easily extended, enabling any user to vacuum up the stairs and reach those awkward nooks and crannies on curtains or high ceilings.
Supplied with Miele's unique HyClean dustbag, these upright cleaners ensure exceptionally good dust pick up and retention. This new dustbag has a six-litre capacity. A unique internal structure, with specifically designed airflow guides, ensures that dust is evenly distributed throughout the bag resulting in maximum dust storage capacity. Its nine layers of randomly-spun fibres and self-closing collar guarantees that all dust particles, no matter how small, remain inside the bag.

The Active Air Clean Filter has an active charcoal casing to absorb unwanted odours from the dustbag.

The deluxe models in the S7 range feature LED +/- power controls and a filter change indicator to let you know when it is time to replace the filter.
Moving from carpets to hard flooring is not an issue with these handy cleaner as they have an “Automatic” setting which will register the change in floor surface and adjust the spring-loaded electrobrush accordingly. Thanks to the integrated headlight on the foot plate, even the darkest corners of the room and those hidden places under the sofa won't be missed.
