Low water consumption
The washer dryer benefits from Fuzzy Logic and an analogue pressure switch, taking in only as much water as is actually needed for each load and reducing consumption to 65 litres per full cottons wash.
A unique fan system atomises the water used to cool and condense the moisture from the drum during drying, bringing water consumption for the drying cycle down to an incredible 11 litres (compared with a market average of 20 litres!)
Patented drum
Miele's unique patented honeycomb drum provides unbeatable washing and drying results. Protecting clothing by creating a low-friction ‘cushion’ of water or air between the fabric and the sides of the drum, the honeycomb drum provides extremely gentle action during both the washing and drying cycles.
Unlike many other washer dryers, Miele's washer dryer has a genuine sensor drying system. Information on the progress of the drying cycle is fed from a sensor plate on the back of the porthole door to the "brain" of the machine, which adjusts the drying time accordingly to ensure precise results.
Fast spin
The choice of spin speeds up to 1,600 rpm means that residual moisture levels after washing are very low, leading to economical drying.
Furthermore, Miele's unique Thermospin process uses heat during a pre-tumbling spin to break the bond between the water and the clothes, reducing drying times by around 10 minutes.
