Miele PerfectFresh – this is the name of Miele's innovative refrigeration system for fresh food. A cooling concept that guarantees your food gets the best storage conditions. The climate in the PerfectFresh zone is perfectly controlled to suit fresh food and keep it fresh for 3 times longer than in a standard refrigeration section. The principle: a fan distributes chilled air throughout the PerfectFresh zone and ensures the storage temperature is maintained at an optimum 0°C to 2°C. Even the humidity level is controlled: depending on food being stored you can choose between a dry and a humidity controlled compartment. Miele PerfectFresh: perfect storage for fresh food whilst maintaining vitamins, nutrients... texture and taste!
The temperature in the PerfectFresh drawers in your Miele refrigerator is maintained at about 0°C. Combined with controlled humidity levels your fresh produce can be stored for considerably longer than in the normal refrigerator section.
Food stays fresh for up to 3 times longer than normal in the PerfectFresh zone. The advantages for you: better taste, better quality and a longer shelf life. So there's less wastage and you don't have to shop so often for fresh food.

Miele's Touch Control panels offer a totally smooth operating interface with sensor controls that is easy to keep clean. A light touch of the finger is all that's required to activate a function. The temperature can be set to the exact degree you want, and is shown in a digital display.

Food not only needs to be stored somewhere cool, it also benefits from an odour free environment. This is easily achieved with Miele's Active Air Clean filters which contain an innovative combination of effective ingredients: active charcoal together with a natural product called chitosan, which neutralises smells.
The slimline filter is simply fitted to the back of one of the glass shelves for effective, odour free storage conditions.
