Troubleshooting

The vacuum cleaner switches off automatically

A temperature limiter switches the vacuum cleaner off automatically if it gets too hot. Some models have a warning light (triangle) which comes on to indicate that it has overheated. Allow the appliance to cool down for approx. 30 mins. and remove any blockages to the air path.

The “Change dustbag” indicator stays on even when a new bag has been inserted

To ensure the dustbag change indicator gives a correct reading, lift the floorhead off the floor slightly to prevent the vacuum created in the suction tube from influencing the reading.

The exhaust filter indicator is red

Change the exhaust filter and then press “Reset” to switch off the indicator light.

Please note: Repair work to electrical appliances should only be carried out by a suitably qualified person in accordance with local and national safety regulations. Repairs and other work by unqualified persons could be dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for unauthorised work.
