Basket Design
Miele's G 1000 range of dishwashers come with a cutlery basket and a height-adjustable upper basket with a fixed row of spikes and drop down cup racks.
A Vario insert in lower basket is designed to take a variety of plates and bowls and a spiked insert in lower basket can be removed to make way for large pots and pans.
ExtraComfort Baskets
Available in the entry line G 5000 models, ExtraComfort baskets are engineered to maximise the space available and give flexibility of loading. They feature a standard cutlery tray and fixed cup racks and spikes in the height-adjustable upper basket.
In the lower basket, features include fixed and hinged spikes as well as a height adjustable glass rail and a fixed MultiComfort zone with enough space for plates to be stacked 3 across a row. ExtraComfort baskets also have white handles with the Miele logo for easier handling.
HighComfort Baskets
Mid-range G 5000 models offer HighComfort baskets that can be tailored to suit the load and include the new 3D cutlery tray. This features a central channel that can be lowered to accommodate larger utensils, and the side trays can be moved aside to create extra headroom for tall items in the upper basket.
The upper basket has hinged spikes and cup racks and a height adjustable rail for glassware. A jumbo cup-rack provides space for over-sized cups in XXL models. In the lower basket, new features include 2 height adjustable glass rails and a fixed MultiComfort zone with drop down spikes that provides enough space for plates to be stacked 3 across a row. HighComfort baskets also have white handles with the Miele logo for easier handling.
PremiumComfort Baskets
The top-of-the-range G 5000 models offer PremiumComfort baskets with even greater versatility including the new 3D cutlery tray. In the upper basket, spikes and cup holders are hinged to allow for a variety of items and a height adjustable rail supports glassware. A jumbo cup-rack provides space for modern over-sized cups in XXL models.
The lower basket offers 4 hinged cup racks and hinged spikes, a drop down glasses rack and a drop down bottle holder. The MultiComfort zone in this basket can be removed to make room for large pots and pans. Stainless steel embossed handles with the Miele logo complete the PremiumComfort baskets.
