    Dim Sum and Sushi Steam

    Both sushi and dim sum have become increasingly popular in recent years. These delicious, bite-sized portions of food are light, healthy, full of flavour and ideally suited to cooking in the Miele steam oven.

    This course will show you how to prepare sushi rice and make a selection of sushi to enjoy for lunch. In the afternoon we will concentrate on dim sum, giving you a variety of recipes for dumplings and buns and showing you how to make your own dumpling pastry – not as difficult as it seems!     Spend the day learning about all the amazing functionality of your Miele Oven. Working with the Miele Home Economists, the course is divided between demonstration and practical work, you’ll be shown everything from everyday use such as Fan Plus, through to Intensive Bake, Moisture Plus and using the food probe. We’ll also tell you about cleaning and maintenance to keep your Miele Oven at it’s best.

    Ovens in 60 minutes

    During this hour long course you will be shown the basics of how Miele single ovens work. Basic cooking functions will be covered, as well as features on the ovens such as Delay Start, setting cooking durations, using the roast probe and which trays and racks should be used on different functions. You will be served a lunch which will be cooked in front of you, whilst you have a chance to ask the Home Economists any questions you may have.

Miele appliance courses are entirely interactive and we’re used to answering questions throughout the session. We will be using the new Generation 6000 products but we can easily explain how to use your specific model to achieve the techniques that you’ll learn.

    Steam Combination in 60 minutes

    During this hour long course you will be shown the basics of how Miele steam combination ovens work. Basic cooking principles will be covered, as well as features on the ovens such as Menu Cooking, the roast probe and combination cooking. You will be served lunch which demonstrates the versatility of steam combination cooking, whilst you have a chance to ask the Home Economists any questions you may have.
